Responsabilities:
•Provide first and second level telephone support to internal and external customers in Delkenheim and on-site in customer laboratories in Europe, Middle East and Africa.
•Investigate error conditions, diagnose probable root causes and provide troubleshooting solutions over the phone or at customer sites.
•Serve as an expert for AM assays, applications and systems and provide 2nd level support to AM Field Application Specialists, Field Service Specialists and Sales Representatives.
•Develop training concepts and documents for AM products, assays, applications and system operation and deliver training to internal and external customers.
•Support EMEA Marketing and local commercial organizations by providing demos of AM products and systems to customers.
•Assure the communication link between technical organizations in AM as well as alliance partners and Service and Support Specialists in AM EMEA to facilitate an effective flow of information.
•Manage escalated issues and coordinate all required activities to resolve customer complaints and meet customer expectations and timeline.
•Provide complete information and data, related to customer complaints, and ensure proper documentation in Abbott Call Management Systems.
•Prepare technical product launches, introduce and track performance of new assays and systems in customer laboratories.
•Update and maintain databases and tools, used for distribution of information.

Requisitos:
Qualifications:
•Scientific degree or High School Diploma in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related subject. Alternatively equivalent experience in a laboratory environment with focus on molecular diagnostics systems and assays.
•Fluency in French mandatory, Spanish mandatory, Portuguese optional/preferred and English mandatory to provide customer support over the phone.
•Excellent knowledge of common molecular biological techniques, required for the support of highly demanding product portfolio of AM.
•Good background knowledge of Nucleic Acid Extraction, PCR, Sequencing, Fragment Analysis, FISH.
•Good knowledge of at least two of following subjects: Virology, Bacteriology, Human Genetics, Oncology.
•Highly expressed analytical skills for effective solving of complex and demanding failure conditions.
•Excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationship to internal and external customers and to facilitate effective problem solving over the phone.
•Capability to identify and focus on customer needs to create and maintain highest level of customer satisfaction.
•Strong training skills for effective training of internal and external customers on use and application of AM products.
•Excellent presentation skills to support commercial organizations with demos of AM products and as a key element of training.
•Fluency in English language is a requirement, including the ability to write reports, technical documents and analytical problem descriptions.
•Organizational skills enabling fast move between different job environments and responsibilities.
•Excellent knowledge of PC technology and common Software, MS Office.
•Strong team skills for effective cooperation with team members as well as various departments and individuals of country organizations in EMEA.
•Adaptability/Flexibility required to work in different environments telephone support, on-site troubleshooting, training of internal and external customers in Abbott training facilities and at customer sites.
•Stress Management to cope with high workload and frequent travel activities.
