Ebury Partners is a treasury solutions company based in London and Malaga specialising in foreign exchange trading and built upon cutting-edge technology. Led by a highly-driven and entrepreneurial team with a track record of success, we are looking for a smart, determined individual to support our growing back-office department based in Malaga.
Working as part of the operations team you will be responsible for processing trades, reconciling incoming funds and instructing and uting outbound payments, as well as performing compliance on new and existing customers.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing, international foreign exchange company, and gain experience in multiple areas of financial services and international payments, in a role that offers career progression within the company.
Responsibilities :
- Reconciling movements within our currency accounts
- Processing currency trades and sending trade documentation to clients
- Processing beneficiary bank information
- Inputting and processing outbound international currency payments via SWIFT
- Providing support to sales and dealing staff
Training in all areas of foreign exchange and international payments will be provided - from currency trading to AML and compliance, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to gain a wide range of skills in the financial services sector.
Candidate:
The role is fast-paced and demanding. Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure are a necessity. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. As the sales and dealing teams are primarily based in the UK a high level of English is essential. Full training will be provided, however existing knowledge of international payments, FX trading and basic accounting is an advantage.
