We have an open position that would take place either in Barcelona or in Brussels.
We work in partnership with Katholiek Onderwijs Vlaanderen (Catholic Schools Education Secretary) to develop applications that allow all schools and CLB to manage their tasks and integrate with the many systems that are provided by the Flemish Government. We have developers working in Agile distributed teams in Barcelona, Brussels and Buenos Aires.
To complete our team we are looking for someone eager to learn, to try new technologies and to innovate.

Requisitos:

What you will do?

We are looking for an Angular and NodeJS developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of the user interface screens designed by the UX team, and build all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Main tasks:

-Develop and maintain Angular 1 components
-Integration of these user-facing elements with server side logic
-Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
-Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
-Implementation of security and data protection
-Integration of data storage solutions (PostgreSQL)

What you’ll need to win?

Oops! these are mandatory
• Software development related degree or equivalent in education or experience
• Intermediate English level (B1)

Yay! these are nice-to-have

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Frontend development
• Experience with JavaScript and affinity with Angular1
• Knowledge of NodeJS and frameworks available for it
• Conversational English level (B2)
