Credit & Collection Assistant (Temp) With German Based in Palma de Mallorca

At A Glance.

The role's purpose is to support the day-to day operations of the Credit & Collection function for the Global Finance Services.

Key Responsibilities.

* Manage collection activities of legacy debt
* Cash collection on behalf of Liberate SLU in SAP
* Management of client accounts to record contact history, set follow-up prompts for future actions
* Contact customers to manage their debt level and to collect outstanding balances
* Liaise with hotels on billing/cash receipt discrepancies
* Review and analyse customer accounts and ensure incoming receipts are allocated as per remittance received
* Manage customer queries and resolve issues together with centralized litigation team
* Liaise with customer master data team to ensure data quality and completeness
* Manage suspension of clients repeatedly rejecting payment
* Manage bankrupt and non-responsive hotels
* Recommend and justify write-offs
* Preparation of periodical aging report with status of each account to support management reporting

Candidate Profile.

* Higher Education Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
* Minimum two years of experience in a similar position in a similar capacity
* Excellent English and Spanish, fluent German.
* Client oriented, excellent negotiation skills
* Strong MS Office knowledge (advanced level in Excel)
* Analytical and meticulous, able to work in a fast paced environment
* Culturally sensitive and possess excellent interpersonal skills to deal with various regions
* Team player, detail oriented, results oriented, self-motivated with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize workloads for maximum effectiveness.
