RideLink is a fast-growing private peer-to-peer car rental community for finding better cars and for less money, right in your neighborhood. It allows any local person who owns a car to safely rent their vehicles directly to other drivers, making money in the process. An intelligent and sustainable alternative with regards to car ownership.

We are looking for a Customer Support and Claims Specialist who can support our fast growing and highly motivated team in our office in Barcelona.

You will support our young company to become the leader through excellence in speed, cost, reliability and scalability of operations. As a member of the team, you will work on the ground to excel in customer service and deliver a high quality, professional advice service to clients in the UK and Spain regarding any claims issues and effectively managing clients’ expectations.
Activities as a customer support and claims specialist may include:
Help us expand to other markets throughout UK, Spain and Germany;
Provide friendly and efficient service to a growing community of car owners and renters;
Actively contact and give support to customers (car owners & renters) over the phone, online chat and email.
Be a first point of contact to handle and resolve our users’ complaints;
Process new insurance claims notifications;
Liaise with insurers and other interested parties to expedite the claims process;
Collect accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim;
Analyze a claim made by a user;
Guide policyholders on how to proceed with the claim;
Monitor the progress of a claim;
Respond professionally to inbound phone calls, including urgent situations;
Compose thoughtful messages or customize prepared responses to customer emails;
Arbitrate in situations between users;
Monitor and control numerous concurrent tasks in tandem;
Regularly assess the status of claims with clients and/or insurers (as applicable) and ensure that all parties are informed of progress.

Requisitos:

- English OR Spanish as a NATIVE language. The other language at a fluent level is also required. Other language skills would be useful;
- Patience, empathy, and a unique ability to manage stress;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Has laser focus attention to detail;
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to adverse situations;
- Self-driven and hardworking with desirable strong Excel and analytical skills;
- Interest in the sharing economy, internet start-ups, cars and/or travel is also a plus;
- Ability to manage complex and confidential information;
- Proactive approach;
- Enjoys the freedom of taking your own decision and is a proactive problem solver;
- Has a positive attitude and likes to have fun, aka laughs a lot, while getting sh** done;
- Reliability;
- Previous customer support and/or claims handling experience preferred;
- Has a good knowledge of the principles and practice of insurance, specifically relating to motor insurance;
- Availability to work one or two weekends per month via home office to run validation procedures and provide customer support to urgent queries. Most part of the task can be done using a smartphone and can be done in between usual weekend activities. Extra compensation offered per weekend worked.
- Eligible to work in Spain.
