THE COMPANY: Parkstone International is an international publishing house specialising in art and photography books. We have both print and ebooks. All of our books are published in English, French, German, Spanish, and some other languages. The Editorial and Digital Department is based in Ho Chi Minh City, former Saigon, Vietnam. THE TEAM: You will work within a young environment where the average age is 28 years old. Many nationalities are working together Spanish, French, English, German, American and Vietnamese, in the editorial, marketing and design departments. Together, you will be part of the construction of the publishing industry’s future. JOB PROFILE We are recruiting recent graduates, in order to help us manage our eBooks division, create and implement creative and innovative strategies, and track online Marketing and PR campaigns. The candidate must have some experience in working with Excel spreadsheets, website traffic analytic tools, social networks, and online communities and must also have the ability to write high/impact texts and have the instinct or knowledge to find new platforms and key customers. You will be corresponding with our ebook distributors, transferring files and creating metadata using ONIX software, and performing other administrative tasks related to ebooks. You would participate in an eighteen month contract renewable in our Ho Chi Minh City former Saigon office. Applicants should be motivated and organised, have initiative and be eager to develop new projects. Fluency in English is required. TASKS • You will provide production support for Designers and the Ebook Manager, performing essential tasks in order to keep all production moving on schedule and to the level of quality expected by Parkstone International. You will be completing a variety of tasks, including but not exclusive to: o E/book production o Transferring ebook and metadata files to distributors via FTP o Transferring ebook and metadata files to distributors via FTP o Updating and creating ebook metadata Excel and ONIX o Searching for new ebook conversion clients o Verifying ebook conversion results o Communication with international distribution partners o General production work to maximize the efforts of the Designers • In addition, you will study the eBook global market and help implement a fully/fledged marketing strategy for our different distribution platforms. • You will also work very closely with our Marketing Department performing social media marketing actions and designing different promotional plans for our several websites • You will work in close relation with the Editorial and Design departments too • You will be attending international Book Fairs such as the London Book Fair or the Frankfurt Book Fair where you will have to provide assistance to the eBook Manager and attend formal business meetings with relevant companies from the digital publishing industry

COMPENSATION: / Airfare reimbursed up to US400 x 2 following probationary period first two months. / US600/month for the first two months, / US800/month for the following two months, / US1000/month for the final eight months of the contract. / Complete medical insurance coverage. / Long/term visa fees covered for the duration of the internship.
