Hotel Contractor Executive

International company is offering a position as a Hotel Contractor Executive for Brazilian market. The candidate must be a native speaker of Portuguese. A degree in Tourist and an excellent level in English and Spanish are necessary. Interviews will be carried out in English. The available role of Hotel Contrator Executive will build upon our existing portfolio of hotels and increase our room night volume with our existing and new partners. The contractor’s main duties and responsibilities will be: — Negotiating contracted rates and availability with both existing and new hotels — Maintaining and monitoring our existing relationships with hotels with frequent visits and calls to hotel sales and revenue managers — Organising own regular business trips booking flights, arranging appointments — Establishing new partnerships with hotels that we do not currently work with — Analysing statistics and growth figures to ensure that existing volume is maintained and built upon — Coordinating with our freesale, sales, reservations and accounts teams to ensure a smooth working relationship — Achieving specials with individual hotels, rate amendments, overrides, setting sensible targets etc We are looking for a Portuguese/Brazilian speaking person who has very good communication skills, can organize themselves very well, is a real team player but also working on their own initiative, good with deadlines. The ideal candidate should be a dynamic, friendly and forthcoming person who enjoys travelling and meeting people. Reporting on progress is done mainly through Excel, so the candidate should be very competent with spread sheets and other MS Office software. The office is based in Barcelona area.
