SANDEMANs New Europe is a young, dynamic, international company that operates in 18 cities around Europe, the Middle East, and the US. With over 80 tours running daily across our network catering to thousands of guests every week we are the largest walking tour company in Europe, connecting travellers with over 200 freelance guides throughout the year. We look for people who share our belief that every visitor to one of our cities should have the best possible experience throughout their stay.
We are currently looking for freelance guide partners in Barcelona – the summer season is kicking off and is looking to be our best year yet so we have plenty of opportunities for talented, enthusiastic guides!

What is the job like?
As a guide working in Barcelona, no two days will be the same. There will be new people to meet, new stories to tell and experiences to share. You will work outside in the fresh air, walking around a city that you love, sharing its fascinating history with people who are enjoying their stay in Barcelona. Our tour guests come from all over the world and love our guides and their tours – check out some of their reviews online!

Requisitos:

Who are we looking for?
Fantastic guides are passionate about Barcelona and its history, have a knack for storytelling, exceptional presentation skills and the ability to deliver information in an engaging, entertaining manner. Knowledge of the city is a must, as is a genuine interest in sharing this knowledge with others.
We don’t believe that prior guiding experience is absolutely necessary – if you are an open, friendly, outgoing person with great communication skills you can train yourself to be a great guide. Prior experience in acting, teaching, performing or making presentations is ideal but not compulsory.

All our guide partners across our network operate on a freelance basis. If we think your profile looks promising, we’ll contact you and let you know about the testing and audition process.
