German Language Specialist at Fashion E-Commerce

Are you ready to be the local voice behind the TFG Europe Brands? The Language Specialist works closely with TFG brand teams to produce best-in-class copy and content that drives member engagement and sales. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary work environment.
The Language Specialist will report to the Head of Localization and work closely with Media, Marketing, CRM and Social & PR.
Important: This is a full-time position, not an internship.
Key Responsibilities
--> Develop, localize, translate and review e-commerce UI, Marketing, CRM, PR and Social content.
--> Work closely with brand and project teams to create engaging, effective and on-brand copy that will enhance the user experience,
--> Inspire our members and drive sales and conversion.
--> Optimize content for search and apply SEO best practices wherever applicable.
--> Thoroughly QA all localized content in all platforms (web, mobile, app, offline) to ensure consistent messaging and proper functionality.
--> Provide inputs on UI, UX and design for products launching in International markets. Identify and fix linguistic and cultural issues before launch
--> Act as the quality gatekeeper, voice and market ambassador for the target language.
--> Coordinate creation and maintenance of linguistic assets (glossaries, style guides, reference material) for the language/market of expertise.
--> Exhibit expertise, passion and inspiration in developing and defining copy and localization guidelines that bring the TFG brands to life.
--> Accountable for the timely delivery, quality and effectiveness of all copy and localization
--> Proactively seek out opportunities to put TFG ahead of its competition (e.g. competitors' benchmarks)
--> Stay abreast of trends and fashion to maintain the fashion and commercial relevance of all copy created.

Requisitos:
--> You MUST be a German native speaker.
--> Creative writing experience with a proven track record in writing fast, clear, memorable marketing/advertising copy with a direct response emphasis.
--> Experience translating and localizing language from American English to native language.
--> Able to turn broad or complex concepts into clear, concise and action oriented messaging for use in promotional marketing tied to various mediums such as SEO, blogs, email, display, social media, etc.
--> Familiar with internationalization issues.
--> Understanding of content strategy, localization and conversion tactics.
--> Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
--> Passion for fashion.
--> Outgoing, positive, professional, and organized.
--> Proactive, detail-oriented person that can work independently.
--> Experience working collaboratively with internal staff and external vendors to transform business requirements into compelling copy.
--> Knowledge of changing trends and competitor marketing initiatives or messaging.
--> Very good communication skills in English.
