JOB OPENING: KRG Representative in Spain Personal Assistant
This position is open to the newly graduated in International relations or similar. The job involved working for a small organisation that deals with diverse topics from trade, education, culture and politics to media and communications. The work of this organisation is constantly changing and so requires a flexible person that is quick to adapt to different situations. The ideal candidate should be able to take general orders and guidelines, work independently using initiative, and have good time management.
FLUENCY IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH IS A MUST FOR THIS POSITION.
(Native level of Spanish language is required)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assistance to the Representative of KRG Spain in administrative issues
Arrange meetings and maintain a schedule of meetings for KRG Spain Representative, accompany the Rep. to the meetings if required by protocol
Writing meeting reports and notes
Research and assist in providing routine information to the Representative of KRG Spain
Organise business trips, events and conferences
Office correspondence and official letters (Write and proofread typed materials for accuracy and correct punctuation, spelling, and grammar)
Maintain records and files
Assist in preparing large email mailing lists as necessary
Respond to enquiries and requests for information on the organisation
Maintain a database of the office’s contacts
PR manager functions (web page management, interviews, monthly newsletter, mailing list, press release, etc.)
Translating articles and official documents English – Spanish

Requisitos:
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
University Degree in International Relations in a MUST (recently completed university degree, work experience is not required)
Interest in diplomatic, embassy work and international politics and relations
Fluent in English and Spanish, spoken, written, ability of translation and interpretation (MUST)
Able to type accurately and proficiently, both in Spanish and English
Previous administrative experience and knowledge of international organizations protocol basics
Communicate effectively and in a polite manner with the general public, colleagues and others contacting the office
Able to respond to a wide range of inquiries in a tactful and courteous manner
Perform duties with minimum supervision and to exercise good judgment
Set up and maintain filing systems
Work independently with given oral and written guidelines
Experienced PC user
Excellent time management skills
