Strategy Analyst Based in Palma de Mallorca

Descripción:
In this role you will contribute to the development and execution of ambitious strategic plans, supporting the Strategic Planning Process and related business development initiatives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supporting the Strategic Planning process across Business Units in close collaboration with the business teams.
• Supporting the implementation of strategic plans for the Company, including management of stakeholders across the Business Units and preparation of key presentations & materials.
• Coordinating the development and management of strategic projects across the company including preparation of reports, project management and liaison with project leaders.
• Building close working relationships with Business Unit senior management and their teams in the development and monitoring of projects.
• Undertaking financial & commercial analysis of strategic issues and alternatives, including Value at Stake and Economic Value Added analysis.
• Undertaking Business Development activities at HBG level through strategic evaluation of new growth opportunities including market attractiveness, competitive and industry analysis, market entry options, commercial due diligence & analytical support, inclusive of the preparation of "fact-bases".
• Tracking post acquisition plan performance against business plan.
• Supporting Internal Communications and Investor Relations teams through the preparation of presentations on the HBG business and strategy.
• Liaising with external advisors (including consultants, freelancers) while providing support for the development of specific strategic projects or during M&A/business development processes.

Requisitos:

• A strong academic background & references; a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related or Business Administration field is preferred.
• Experience, preferably in a Strategy, Business Development or Commercial Finance role or in the Travel & Tourism Sector.
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills – able to interpret, summarise and present complex data from multiple sources clearly and succinctly and with good attention to detail.
• Proven track record of putting complex ideas into clear frameworks, using data to generate insights and present business cases and recommendations.
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to drive change. Excellent relationship-building, communication and collaboration skills - strong networker and able to effectively manage multiple stakeholder relationships and conflicting demands.
• Flexible and adaptable, comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
• Excellent organisation, planning, prioritization and problem solving skills, able to think on their feet, use their own initiative and adapt to changing situations. 
• A fast learner, naturally inquisitive and comfortable working on own initiative.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential. Additional languages, particularly Spanish is strongly preferred.
• High level of computer literacy and advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Some travel may be required.
