Internship tasks:

This internship in communication and customer service in a Company that offers touristic apartments for rent in Madrid, is looking for a student with good communication skills, who is friendly and has interest in the work of touristic companies or international culture. Additionally he or she should be able to fluently communicate in English and Spanish.

Under the supervision of the head of the reception, the intern will be dealing with the following tasks:

Welcome the clients that are there for the first time and inform them about the tourist apartments and the details of the booking
Offer tourist information and information about Madrid
Answer phone calls and respond in a professional and well informed way, solving doubts or transferring the call to the responsible person
Answer emails
Register arrivals, check-ins, making sure they are in accordance to the bookings
Register the departures, check-outs, making sure that the bills have been paid and there weren’t any inconveniences
Do everything to solve possible inconveniences and/or inform the area manager
Maintain a clear communication with the direction, maintenance, cleaners and bookings

Requirements for the applicant:
Studies Languages, Tourism, Communication, Hospitality, Business, International Relations
Required languages Spanish – B2 English – B2
Desired experience Previous experience in customer service are valued
IT skills MS Office, Internet
Other requirements A flexible, friendly, extroverted person is valued who likes to be in contact with other people

Working hours 5 days a week
