Predoctoral Fellowship in the Field Of Materials Engineering

The objective of the 4—year research project is to develop a new integrated microsensor platform for the detection of bacterial activity. The research task consists, amongst others, of the following items: • Growth of nanowires of metallic oxides WO3, SnO2, In2O3, ZnO decorated with metallic nanoparticles Au, Ag using AA—CVD Aerosol Assited Chemical Vapor Deposition, • Biomolecules functionalising, • Physical characterization, • Microsensor platform developing.

Duration: at maximum of 36 moths. Beginning: June 2013 Salary: the gross monthly salary for the PhD position ranges from € 1.200,— gross per month in the first year increasing every year up to € 1.400,— gross per month in the two last years.
