The BPI team provides high quality integration solutions in SOA, CEP, BAM, A2A, B2B and BPM to world´s leading corporations across various domains to address their complex integration needs spanning across geographies. This means: -middleware development & customization -business process reengineering -migration and upgrade -configuration & business application integration for enterprise systems. -We offer platform/product selection advice, architecture consulting and innovation support. We also provide managed services “Integration Competency Centre” or “Integration as a service” solutions – converting costs into ‘per user per month’ revenue/expense model. In Europe we are present in UK, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Germany and Belgium. We chose Valladolid as location to build our delivery & consulting competences. We are building up a whole new team here and are therefore looking for recent graduates to join us as junior developers with an opportunity to later also work as junior consultant in a project with a client. The team in Valladolid will potentially work for pan European clients, so flexibility is required! Your role as junior developer BPI In the beginning the focus will be on training. After that you will become part of our European consulting or project delivery team, providing a full range of IT services to clients across multiple industry sectors. You might be assigned to a client engagement outside of Spain You will: communicate with clients, translate functional requirements into a technical implementation ,discuss your technical requirements with your front-end and back-end colleagues ,work with onshore and offshore teams of Cognizant and of our clients ,document your status and progress in our system ,create your code in respective middleware tool ,have attention for quality, maintainability, performance and testing All of the above needs to be done with the ambition to obtain the best possible result for our client. With that you are not afraid to point attention points and/or propose improvements along the way! As a graduate you will receive training in the following areas: •Basic technical training on Java/.Net, HTML/JSP/CSS, XML technologies XML, XSD, XSLT, parsers, etc., JMS, web services, Oracle & SQL database •Programming with middleware tools as IBM, Tibco, webMethods •Client specific standards and guidelines
