Credit Controller German Speaker

Essential functions of this Role:

• Account manager for the assigned European dealers ledgers
• Assess risk / authorise credit on new account applications
• Monitor / authorise release of daily orders
• Chase debt via telephone or email
• Liaise with customer services and sales team to resolve issues
• Provide monthly report on overdue debt
• Provide weekly orders held & overdue debt report
• Maintain the dealer data
• Daily cash posting and allocation
• Processing credit card transactions
• Carry out SEPA direct debit runs
• Monitor legal action in line with department procedure


General duties:

• Process credit applications and assign credit limits informing customer services & sales rep of any change to credit limits
• Establish payment plans for outstanding accounts
• Issue daily receipts report by email to customer service, sales reps, country managers and credit control manager
• Inform customer service, sales reps, country managers and credit control manager when an account goes on or off hold
• Discuss with sales rep, country manager and credit control manager before threatening any action against a dealer according to the company policy
• Provide sales force with feedback on credit limits, payment terms and payment history before pre book season
• Review accounts to determine if orders outside credit terms can be released
• Maintain account notes on SAP and make credit control manager aware of any issues
• Send dealer statements / copy invoices on request
• Reconciliation of dealer accounts if required
• Providing monthly analysis of your ledgers to the credit control manager
