Graduate Quality Inspection Engineer

A leading company specialising in the heat treatment of steel & non ferrous parts for the Aerospace and Engineering industries, a vacancy has arisen for a graduate who has aspirations to pursue an immediate career in Quality Engineering/Metallurgical testing.

The Job Holder will be fully responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in the control of the process together with the control and maintenance of the Quality Management System.

This will include participating in the following activities:

Promotion of Awareness of Customer Requirements
System review and audit
Handling & investigation of non/conformities, complaints, concessions
Carrying out Laboratory tests to measure product acceptance and check process performance
Carrying out metallurgical investigations and preparing reports.
Review & approval of calibration activities/reports

The Job Holder will be recruited to join a small efficient team which will fully support Production in meeting our customer requirements. A full training programme will be given to enable the successful candidate to fulfil their tasks.
