Facilities Specialist (Ingeniero Técnico)

- Handing support to the Facilities Manager in preparing documents to put out tenders for contractors.
- Communication with official authorities (ministry, city hall and/or industry).
- Identifying issues, analysing malfunctioning equipment and systems, recommending corrective action and on approval make repairs or modifications under the direction of the Facilities Manager as well as, monitoring solutions to ensure their effectiveness.
- Supporting the Facilities Manager in calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money.
- Ensures the buildings meets health and safety requirements.
- Ensures the best allocation and utilisation of space and resources for new buildings, or re-organising current premises.
- Assisting to the Facilities Manager to ensure that the agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and following up on any deficiencies.
- Responds appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
