The Institute

The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, based in Barcelona, Spain, with more than 400 scientists from 44 countries. The CRG shares principles of an interdisciplinary, motivated and creative scientific team that is supported by high-end and innovative technologies and a flexible and efficient administration.
In April 2021, the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) received the renewal of the 'HR Excellence in Research' logo from the European Commission. This is a recognition of the Institute's commitment to developing an HR Strategy for Researchers, designed to bring the practices and procedures in line with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers (Charter and Code).

The role

The internship student joining the CRG will carry out support tasks of the Facility Management Department for all the facilities available at the CRG in the PRBB building and in the CNAG.

The main responsibilities will be:

• Update general plans of the CRG and the CNAG.
• Elaborate plans and other documents to support the implementation of the facilities of the CRG and CNAG. This means update of equipment, furniture, electrical diagrams, alarm system, etc.
• Collaborate with the elaboration of the documents required to carry out internal construction works as well as the management of the plans and other documents like as-built works final documents.

Requisitos:

Must Have

• You are a suitable candidate for an internship agreement with your University for a minimum of 6 months

Education and training

• You are currently studying Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Architecture

Technical skills

• You have advanced knowledge of Advanced AutoCAD

Competences

• You are detail oriented and organised
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You are highly motivated and eager to learn
